When my partner (now husband) and I first began researching the possibility of starting a family, we were stunned by the lack of books aimed at two men intentionally starting a family together. The books we found were focused on women or dealt with men coming out as gay after being married and having children with their female spouse. After our daughter was born, we decided that we would document our journey and share our story with those that might want to do the same someday.
The book, “Jesus Has Two Daddies” is both a chronicle of our journey and a narrative of what it’s like for two men to raise two kids (one from a private adoption and one from foster care) in the birthplace of the Republican Party.
